Mr. Davis joined HWCM in 1988 as an equity analyst and became portfolio manager in 1989. In 2001, Mr. Davis was named Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He is also director of Hotchkis and Wiley (UK) Limited. In his role as portfolio manager, Mr. Davis plays an integral part in the investment research review and decision-making process. He coordinates the day-to-day management of Large Cap Fundamental Value, Large Cap Diversified Value, Mid-Cap Value and Value Opportunities portfolios, represents these strategies to current and prospective clients, as well as provides expertise and insight into the capital goods and financials sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Davis was an assistant to the senior partner of RCM Capital Management. He began his career in equity research with internships at Cramer, Rosenthal & McGlynn and Fidelity Management & Research. Mr. Davis received his BA in Economics and History and MBA from Stanford University. In addition, he is Series 7, 63 and 65 registered.
