Ms. Pleasant joined Hotchkis and Wiley in 2003 as an Internal Sales Associate responsible for sales support and client service in the Western Division.

Previously, Ms. Pleasant founded her own Financial Planning practice in 1999, "Pleasant Financial Planning", where she worked with both individuals and small businesses. In addition, she joined Fortis Investors Inc. in 1993 in their Management Trainee program eventually being promoted to Account Executive.

Ms. Pleasant received her BA in English with an Option in Writing in 1993 from California State University Northridge. She holds a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation (CMFC), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation (CRPS), is Series 6, and 63 registered as well as California Insurance licensed for Health, Life, Disability and Long Term Care.
