Hotchkis & Wiley has managed socially responsible strategies since 1993. In 2013, we became a signatory to the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment, a voluntary framework for incorporating ESG issues into investment decision-making and ownership practices.
Consideration of ESG factors is an integral and ongoing part of our investment process. Our fundamental approach reviews governance policies, environmental practices, and employment/social programs because we believe each ESG component can impact the intrinsic value and/or risk profile of a company.
